SERGEI RACHMANINOV
“Piano Concerto n.3”

36.00

The Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor was composed Rachmaninoff in 1909, and has the reputation of being one of the most technically challenging piano concertos in the standard classical repertoire. The concerto is one of the main foci of the 1996 film “Shine”, based on the life of pianist David Helfgott. A great addition to a school orchestra program, as it allows to choose a soloist amongst the orchestra.

HomeOrchestra arrangements of classical music standards is a very desirable addition to a school orchestra repertoire. It allows to choose a member of any group – keyboards, strings, woodwinds or brass – and give them an unprecedented opportunity to shine as a soloist of a symphonic orchestra from the youngest age!
