JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH
“Piano Concerto”

30.00

BWV 1052 in d-minor

This concerto was composed by Bach for harpsichord and string orchestra. As most of “the great old man’s” work, it has been forgotten for quite some time, only to be re-discovered in early 19th century by Felix Mendelssohn, a German composer and a known Bach’s devotee. A great addition to a school orchestra program, as it allows to choose a soloist amongst the orchestra.

Includes: demo MP3 / “minus soloist” play-along mp3 / conductor’s score / full orchestra parts / piano soloist part

HomeOrchestra arrangements of classical music standards is a very desirable addition to a school orchestra repertoire. It allows to choose a young pianist from the school,  and give them an unprecedented opportunity to shine as a soloist of a symphonic orchestra!
