Description

“Suite Bergamasque” – which in French language means “from Bergamo”, a province in Italy – is one of the most popular piano suites of impressionists era. The second part of it, the infamous “Claire de Lune” – French for “moonlight” – has been arranged for a wide variety of instrumental combinations. It is frequently used in films, such as 1956 film “Giant”, Disney’s “Fantasia”, and also “Ocean’s Eleven”.

HomeOrchestra arrangements of classical music standards is a very desirable addition to a school orchestra repertoire. It allows to choose a member of any group – keyboards, strings, woodwinds or brass – and give them an unprecedented opportunity to shine as a soloist of a symphonic orchestra from the youngest age!
